Intro to Weightlifting
This program is suited for kids from the ages of 9 and older looking to increase their athletics ability. They will be exposed to a 3-day training program used to educate them on the basics of weightlifting, gymnastics, mobility, stretching, plyometric, and conditioning.
They will be guided by the Cornwall weightlifting Clubs heads coach, Kyle Pichie.
Caveman strong has developed Provincial junior and senior champions, National champions and medalists, and Pan American Masters competitors in the sport of weightlifting. Our program is tailored to todays youth. It has a big impact on their overall skeletal development, coordination, self confidence, and willingness to keep active.
This is an opportunity for kids to learn in a safe and guided class on how to maneuver their bodies properly while lowering the risk of injuries and exploring new activities.
Each day will include different training styles, intensities, skill work, and group activities.
4 hours of training with a 1 hour break for lunch.
Please bring your own lunch, pack some snacks and lots of water.
